T.m.k Street Food

Phenomenal portion sizes and fantastic flavours. By far the best dirty fries me or my wife have had to date. It's also the first time my two teenage boys couldn't finish a meal (they shared one large cowboy fries). Worth mentioning the chicken on our buffalo box blanketed the ample fries so for once I didn't feel guilty with my desired share of the mouthwatering portion we shared. Final note, the guys that work there are very approachable and friendly. We will definitely be coming here again.

TMK has become an absolute staple of the York food scene. Big portions, big flavours, and big personalities; the prices aren’t bad either! I recommend the buffalo fries, but if you’re going to have one meal, it’s their iconic mac and cheese. So good!

I'm not really a fan of street food but having just come out of York Minster I thought I would see if any of the food places looked good today in the shambles Market. I decided on a burger from TMK The best burger I have ever had. Full stop, no going back to the start and amazing burger and I don't think it's going to be beaten for a long time if ever. For you this will be the best food decision in York. I would add photos of the actual burger but it went so quickly there wasn't time. You don't take photos when your in good heaven do you? Yhe taste was still delighting me 5 mins after I had finished. And I took great pleasure in telling the chef my delight in his burger creation. This is simply not something I would normally do but OMG this greatness deserves praise. Go to the shambles Market and find TMK in the corner it really does have burgers for all tastes. I also had the shrimp garlic and chilli butter chips and they were delicious too but only a 4.8 bizarrely. I also had a rainbow cider which turned out to be a sherbet cider! My first ever taste of such a yhing don't ask me why but it was a great accompanying beverage. For reference I had the "Hello Me" Burger. And it was amazing.

We had the best lunch at T.M.K yesterday. It was really hard to decide on what to order as it all liked and sounded amazing. The Ruben burger was a hit and the Jerk chicken poutine fries were just next level! Service was friendly. We might have to go back next week for the Mac n Cheese

I ate here today for the first time. The large portion of loaded fries was huge, such great value for money in the middle of York, and the quality was incredible. We had the ones with pulled pork, and I have to say it's the nicest pulled pork I've ever had. The atmosphere was buzzing around the market, some great tunes playing and just generally a cracking place to be. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, this will now be our go-to eatery when in York, thanks guys keep it up. Maybe a warning on just how big a large portion is, I won't need to eat now till Christmas.

"This place is an affordable flavor paradise!" The loaded fries are a must for only £8, the pulled pork is tender and is a sensation on the tongue, and the mozzarella is showered over crispy fries with sizzling bacon layered over the top. The classic mac and cheese, again for £8 is pure comfort food with a kick of chorizo adding just a touch of spice, and the cheese sauce is so rich and creamy, it's like a warm hug. Plus, the spinach adds a lovely touch of healthy goodness. We live in a world of high prices for tiny amounts, But this place gives you a portion that makes your wallet and stomach satisfied beyond pretty much any eatery today that I've experienced and I know my stuff . Trust me, you won't regret ordering and eating at this amazing place. Big flavour, Big portions and not breaking the bank

A very good place to eat in york, they carry our trip in england with yummy food and a very kind and good service. I hope we could come to eat those big hamburgers again.
